Proxi is a c-store banner of seven stores with Esso gasoline, all located in the Quebec City area. It was founded by entrepreneur Gérard Brousseau and managed by his two children, Denis and Chantal. In September 2017, they sold five of the seven c-stores to their gas supplier, Harnois Groupe pétrolier. The small chain dates from the 1980s.
