Dépanneur du Coin is a well-known convenience store banner with 200 gas stations in Quebec displaying the Ultramar gas brand. Launched in 1995 by Ultramar, the c-store network enjoys excellent locations and exclusive products such as the (excellent) Transit coffee.
Dépanneur du Coin is indeed the second largest corporate convenience store network in Quebec, right behind Couche-Tard. While it has been managed for several years by CST Brands (a former division of Valero Energy), it has just been sold to Parkland Fuel Corporation through a transaction with Couche-Tard.
The transaction is expected to be approved by regulatory authorities by the end of 2017.
