As shown in the picture, two Couche-Tard<\/strong><\/a> convenience stores are facing each other, one almost in the parking lot of the other!<\/p>\n One is a Couche-Tard<\/strong><\/a> with Esso<\/strong> and a Tim Hortons<\/strong> restaurant while the other is just a small traditional Couche-Tard<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n Explanation: last fall, Couche-Tard<\/strong><\/a> acquired 50 service-stations from Imperial Oil\u00a0featuring the “March\u00e9 Express<\/strong>” banner and selling Esso<\/strong> gasoline. This transaction represented a\u00a0golden opportunity since they were deemed high quality locations, most equipped with a Tim Hortons<\/strong> restaurants … they were even called “jewels of the crown”<\/a> by Couche-Tard<\/strong><\/a> President, Brian Hannash.<\/p>\n Except that in some places, such as Dorval, a Couche-Tard<\/strong><\/a> convenience store was directly facing the March\u00e9\u00a0Express<\/strong> store acquired … oops!<\/p>\n
