The fourth section of permits concerns the rental of video equipment, a sector in decline but still present particularly in remote regions. To rent, sell or exchange films or videos, one must obtain a valid permit from the R\u00e9gie du cin\u00e9ma du Qu\u00e9bec and pay an annual fee, all managed by the Ministry of Culture and Communications. The permit lasts for five years but the annual fee is payable each year. Note that since April 1, 2017, the activities of the R\u00e9gie du cin\u00e9ma have been integrated with those of the Minist\u00e8re de la Culture et des Communications.<\/p>\n\n
