{"id":58232,"date":"2017-03-09T19:34:50","date_gmt":"2017-03-10T00:34:50","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/depquebec.com\/?page_id=58232"},"modified":"2017-03-29T19:42:21","modified_gmt":"2017-03-30T00:42:21","slug":"sergaz","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/depquebec.com\/en\/list-of-gas-brands\/sergaz\/","title":{"rendered":"Sergaz"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span class=\"TexteSpecial\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-1651\" src=\"https:\/\/depquebec.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/01\/z012.jpg\" width=\"344\" height=\"258\" \/><span id=\"result_box\" class=\"\" lang=\"en\" tabindex=\"-1\">The <strong>Sergaz<\/strong> brand originates from a former Canadian oil group created in 1971.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"\">During the 70s and 80s, <strong>Sergaz<\/strong>\u00a0has developed an important network of franchisees throughout Quebec.<\/span> <span class=\"\">In fiscal year 1984, <strong>Sergaz<\/strong>\u00a0realized sales of $ 110 million.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"\">The banner was sold to\u00a0<strong><a href=\"https:\/\/depquebec.com\/en\/gas-brand-profiles\/ultramar\/\">Ultramar<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>in 1994 and was then gradually integrated into its\u00a0existing network. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"\">There are still a few surviving <strong>Sergaz<\/strong> stations, like one in Frelighsburg, Mont\u00e9r\u00e9gie.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"\">According to some sources, a banner revival has been seriously considered recently. But since the sale of <strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cstbrands.com\/en-us\/OurCompany\" target=\"_blank\">CST<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>to <a href=\"https:\/\/depquebec.com\/en\/chain-profiles\/alimentation-couche-tard\/\"><strong>Couche-Tard<\/strong><\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/depquebec.com\/en\/chain-profiles\/parkland-fuel-corporation\/\"><strong>Parkland<\/strong><\/a>, this\u00a0idea has probably been abandoned.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Sergaz brand originates from a former Canadian oil group created in 1971.
