The Axco<\/strong> and Sonerco<\/strong> gasoline brands were acquired in 2009 by Groupe F. Dufresne<\/strong><\/a> and amounted to 105 service stations at that time.<\/p>\n

According to our estimates, about fifteen service stations currently display one or the other of these banners.<\/p>\n

In some cases, Sonerco<\/strong> service stations have gone under the Eko<\/strong> <\/a>banner, the flagship banner of Groupe F. Dufresne<\/strong><\/a>, but in other cases it seems that they have switched to competitors such as P\u00e9tro-T<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Certainly both of these banners do not appear to be actively supported by their owner who primarily focus on the Eko<\/strong> <\/a>brand and who would likely have acquired not the brands as such but the distribution network and the supply contracts that come with it.<\/p>\n

The remaining service stations are probably the ones who have no interest in changing banner or do not wish to invest in a new display. We could therefore still rub shoulders with these two brands for several years.<\/p>\n
