Owned by Sobeys Qu\u00e9bec<\/strong><\/a>, the March\u00e9 Bonichoix<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0franchise is a “banner of\u00a0small food markets that have built their reputation on their quality products and their right\u00a0size to best serve Quebec’s rural communities.” Its mission is to “meet grocery or food supply needs in small neighborhoods or communities where it is the only food store available nearby.”<\/span><\/p>\n Sobeys<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>offers an \u201caffilliation agreement\u201d with independent owners for the operation of a convenience store under the March\u00e9 Bonichoix<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0banner of a usual five-year term, possibly with the right to extend the term for a period of five years and also, a right of first refusal during the term of the lease if the lessor receives an offer to purchase concerning the rented premises. The agreement allows retailers access to wholesale prices and marketing resources.<\/p>\n
