The Sonic\u00a0<\/strong>brand of gasoline originated from Sonic<\/strong><\/a>, a division of\u00a0La Coop F\u00e9d\u00e9r\u00e9e<\/strong><\/a>. Founded in 1958, it distributes over 900 million liters of energy products\u00a0annually (gasoline, propane, diesel, heating oil, lubricants, DEF and forest biomass) and supplies 152 gas stations in Quebec.<\/p>\n

It also operates 21 self-service depots and sites for trucks. It also provides sales, installation and maintenance services of heating and storage equipment.<\/p>\n

According to the company, Sonic<\/a>‘s<\/strong> gasoline\u00a0meets the rigors of the seasons and all government standards in force. Regular<\/strong> gasoline can contain up to 10% ethanol, thus meeting the criteria of major automotive manufacturers and ensuring superior cleaning of injectors and allowing improved performance. Super<\/strong> gasoline does not contain ethanol but has an octane rating of 91 which is ideal for sports cars, luxury cars and small engines such as saws, mowers and 2-stroke engines.<\/p>\n
