Although fully managed by employees instead of independent retailers, Couche-Tard<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0is achieving nonetheless high-caliber\u00a0performance and world-class flexibility in its operations through a decentralized management system in which managers exert real\u00a0power over local merchandising strategies and day-to-day management while also being more accountable for sales results. This\u00a0approach, however, does not prevent Couche-Tard<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0from considering the franchising of a small number of its corporate stores such as those in Saint-Liboire and Saint-Hubert (source: Les Affaires<\/a>).<\/p>\n
