Welcome to DepQuebec, the first web portal in Quebec totally dedicated to its convenience store industry, generally referred as the “depanneur industry”.
Fully developed on the WordPress platform, DepQuebec proposes five major content areas to explore:
- Articles: industry issues (Zoom Dep), news (News Dep), portraits (Dep Stars) and expert advice (Dep Advice) sections are covering the spectrum of topics of interest of the site. Many of the articles and photos use external sources and when this is the case, we always make a point of naming the sources and giving credit to whoever is right. However, should an error or omission occur, please excuse us in advance and notify us as soon as possible so that we can rectify the situation quickly.
- Compliance Dep: all permits and forms available in one click! … and everything you need to know to comply with the many laws and regulations that regulate the industry, as well as salaries and other specific regulations in key product categories;
- 2017 Ranking: this section lifts the veil of the industry players: who they are, what position they occupy and who works with whom (chain, banner and gasoline brands) … a key tool to deconstructs this complex channel.
- Retailer GEOMAP: the first and complete online directory of convenience stores in Québec. Have fun discovering it and seeing the distribution of the various industry players;
- Supplier GEOMAP: this paying directory of c-store suppliers, whether they are food manufacturers, equipment builders or service providers.
The articles contained in DepQuebec can receive your comments (subject to moderation), and the same goes for convenience store listings. Each store can also be rated on a five-star scale. To leave a comment, simply enter your name and email and follow the instructions.
